A Message from the Superintendent …
Carole M. Kakabar, Superintendent
"I started my administrative career at Ferndale Area in 1997 as Junior-Senior High School Principal and Athletic Director, and I am very happy to have returned as Superintendent in 2008. The proud community here is so very welcoming and concerned with the education of their children. FASD is one of the best kept secrets in the Johnstown area. Many times this district has been referred to as a private school in a public school setting, where every child receives special attention."
