What are eSports?
Currently taking the world by storm, eSports is a competitive gaming scene that puts players from around the globe against each other in a myriad of games. We are diving right in with our first eSports team this year, currently competing in HSEL's Spring Major Season for the 18-19 school year.

What games do we play?
We chose League of Legends for our first eSports team. League of Legends (or LoL for short) is a 5v5 Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) where players choose champions and fight for control of the map. The ultimate goal is to destroy your opponent's base (Nexus) while defending your own. There is a immense amount of strategy, communication and teamwork needed to accomplish this. For a quick rundown on the basics of the game, check out this short video!
